First Time at a Scrap Yard? No Problem.
First time at a scrap yard can feel confusing. At Jacksonville Metal Recycling we keep it simple. Our team will tell you where to go, help you unload when needed, and make sure you leave with a clear receipt and your cash. You don’t need an appointment — just bring your scrap, your ID, and we’ll walk you through the rest.
What We Buy
Here are some of the most common items we see from customers and contractors. If you don’t see your item listed, call us first — we’ll point you in the right direction.
Washers, dryers, stoves, and more. They must be emptied and drained out.
Metal patio sets, bed frames, grills, shelving, and other steel items from around the house.
Copper wire, copper tubing, and related materials — cleaner material earns more cash.
Soda cans, rims, rain gutters, ladders and other aluminum items.
Sinks, kitchen equipment, etc.
Computer towers, laptops, circuit boards, and select e-scrap items.
We do not accept household trash or hazardous items (for example, gas tanks with fuel, closed cylinders, or materials with unknown liquids). Restricted Materials need additional proof of ownership. Not sure if we can take something? Call us and we’ll let you know.
